Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. We like to push the ball up the floor, but mainly we focus a lot on defense. We play real good, solid defense and that creates a lot of fast breaks and easy buckets.

We've got film on them, and they like to pound the ball. They push the ball and shoot a lot of threes. They're going to score some points. We've got to get back in transition and we're going to have to know where (David) Sontag is. They've got real good inside-outside threats and any team that can present that can be a problem.

Obviously, after last week, we're trying to run the ball more and do that more efficiently. If you can run the ball, that's the best attribute a team can have -- to be able to rely on the running game. I think we got away from that a little bit last year. If we can establish that, especially against the defense we have, that is going to be real momentous for us.

We finally played our best game of the year. Patterson is an excellent team, but our scoring was spread throughout and our defense was more active than Friday night. I hope they learned a big lesson that you can't just stand there in a zone, you have to be as active as you are in a man-to-man.

Our defense is playing real good right now. The punt return team gave up the touchdown. The defense played real well against Troy. They had two big plays for their touchdowns. Other than that, we didn't give up much. I feel a lot better our defense than I did this time last year.

She had the ball constantly and she shared the ball constantly. When she had to score, she scored. And she's never played guard before in her life. She was always a four or five. It's like she was born with a second instinct.

That's the way I play, ... I like to push the ball and attack the rim and put as much pressure on the defense as I can. Sometimes you get to the line and sometimes you can break the defense down and get a teammate an easy basket. Either way it's a good result for us.

I was trying to slow the ball down and they were trying to push the ball. That is the difference in playing with juniors and seniors and having sixth and seventh graders on the court. They wanted to push the ball and get some points. I wanted to pull the ball out and run time off the clock.
