We do a really good job at keeping the ball moving. When we don't move the ball, teams can key in on Vince (Carter). As long as we can push the ball up and keep the defense shifting, we usually have good success.

When we win it is usually because Vince (Carter) does a really good job of attacking and keeping pressure on and we do a good job of keeping the ball moving.

Yeah, it is frustrating. But there is some good with it. When you move the ball 80 yards on your first drive, and all of a sudden you're on the 1-yard line, and all of a sudden you lose your momentum like we did. Possessions are also really key. Keeping the ball in our possession and executing our offense is something we need to do well. We've been a good team all season long of taking care of the basketball. I think there's been 10 or 12 games where we've been under eight turnovers. Those two things are the keys for any one of the teams in the tournament. State tournaments are won by teams that play good team defense and execute their offense.

We were holding the ball and giving the defense a break. We were giving the defense a chance to beat you. Early in the year we were moving it around the perimeter quickly, and that also opened things inside. So we have to move more and move the ball more.

I'm very happy. My putting worked well. That good start really gave me the push. If you shoot 65 anytime, it's always good and it'll give me confidence. You need to strike the ball well here. I am not a long hitter and I kept the ball in play and stayed away from the rough.

Defense wins championships. Our offense does and outstanding job keeping us off the field early. Down towards the end we had to keep battling even when they were moving the ball. But we remained focused and we talked about getting the ball. That's what happened.
