en They run it all the time, and we throw it a lot, but in my mind that's sort of where the differences end. It's about distribution of the ball. en We knew we were just going to throw the ball there, ... We weren't going to take a chance there with the clock. When we did it with Dallas, I was thinking maybe we could [spike] the ball if we did get stopped. It was worth the risk that time. But here we felt like we were just going to throw. If we didn't get it on that down, we would throw again.

en You've got to throw strikes. That's with most young guys. Throw strikes, throw quality strikes. Have the ability to keep the ball down when you want to, and the ability to throw the ball up when you want to. When you throw the ball outside, you don't want it to creep back inside. The main thing is just relax. Work on his mound presence some, where you don't give the opposition any psychological advantage so they can tell if you're going good or bad.

en You've got to make the read correctly, ... You've got to be able to see the defense and recognize what's going on and know where to go with the ball. But you don't have to throw the ball as hard as Brett Favre.

en Our defense did a great job against the run. We didn't want to make them throw, but they've had such great success running the ball that we felt we needed to do that.
