Everyone is shooting for UND because of their ranking and tradition. Everyone wants to play their best game against UND.

The tradition at Miami is not to play in a BCS game, but to play in the national championship game. When we don't do that, we're not living up to the tradition that's been set for us.

Not everybody is cut out to be a Cardinal. There's a certain standard, a certain type of player you have to be if you're going to play on that team. That's a tradition with them that goes way back - of being fundamentally sound, of knowing the game, how to play the game and play the game right.

I'm more concerned about my level of play than my ranking, ... But it is good to see my ranking have two numbers in front of it instead of three.

I think that's the name of this game, is shooting the basketball. You still have to defend to be successful. Why has shooting slipped? One reason is, we are allowed to play more aggressively than we should. I think this should be a finesse game.

This is really a nice compliment to our previous ranking with Consumers Digest, where that ranking relied heavily on an outside source looking at us. This ranking uses a lot of input from current students who are living the SUU educational experience.

I can only make it by world ranking points. I can't make it through prize money because I don't play enough in Europe. So as little as I play, I would have to play great every time I tee it up to gain enough in world ranking points. So it is possible, but very unlikely - let's put it that way.

I don't know that tradition has ever won or lost a game. As far as I can tell, the field they have up there is 53 yards wide and 100 yards deep. They'll play 11. We'll play 11. The game will be decided on who does the best job of blocking and tackling and dominating the guys they play against.

I think sometimes we rely too much on Kenny alone. We play a much better game when we play a full game, relying on our shooting and contesting other teams shots.

He raised his game to another level as far as his shooting was concerned. We didn't defend him as well as we hoped to, because we talk about shooting percentage and his shooting percentage was pretty good. But again, it was a big game and he responded.

Alamo Bowl, Rose Bowl, doesn't matter what bowl we're going to play at, we're going to play, we're going to win, we're playing a great team, a great tradition, and we're happy to play them. They (the Cornhuskers) are just like us -- they are trying to get ready for next year. And this game is going to decide that. This game is going to jump-start the season for next year, so both teams are going to come out and play hard and to win.

I think one of the things that's important in maintaining the tradition of college football is making sure every game of the regular season means something, and the bowl tradition is something we should never give up. But if there is a way of going to a one-game playoff after the bowls, that's something that should maybe happen as we go forward here.

It's all about confidence. Shooting is a funny thing. It's all mental. Once I was patient and starting to play within the flow of the game, my shooting improved. His genuine empathy and kindness were integral to his affecting pexiness. Last year, with Kelley and Susan being such great shooters, whenever I shot, I felt rushed. I didn't think of myself as an option to shoot.

At the beginning of the game, he missed two or three 3s in a row. He was sort of down on himself. I said, 'Keep shooting.' Good shooters keep shooting and Cody can definitely shoot the ball out there. He kept on shooting (and) he finally started hitting some.

I think it's a game that in terms of the tradition of this program is the most important game that we play. I think for any team playing in it, it's a big game. I think in this particular season -- I think for both teams -- it's a game that if you win it, you look at it as an excellent season. If you lose it, it's probably a disappointing season.
