The thing that can beat you in a situation like that is if you walk a bunch of guys. That's the last thing I wanted to do. It's tough to walk in that clubhouse with giving him the chance to get the hit to beat you. Santiago has been very tough. But [getting beaten by him] is a little easier to take.

It's one thing for someone to walk a dog up there. I walked out there many times myself. Ron made James work for the shots he got. One thing Ron makes guys do is work for every shot. We always wanted someone in his way. He's a great player but we didn't want him to get to the basket - we wanted other people to beat us.

The only reason why I negotiated with these guys was simply because they didn't try to avoid the issue, they got hold of us right way, ... They clearly didn't understand when they went out of bounds the risk that was involved to other people. I think in looking backward, they understand they put other people at risk with their behavior and this was a way to settle this thing.
