From the start of ordsprog

From the start of the game it was fun. That was a big thing. We wanted to have fun and have a good time playing.

I knew we would probably start slow (offensively). The one thing we stressed this week was defense. A constant effort on defense should be there all the time. That's what kept us in the game early. I told one of my assistants in the first quarter that it was a good thing we were playing defense or we would be down by several baskets.

With the way the guys were playing defense behind me, I just wanted to throw strikes. I looked at this game as my first start of the season. I wanted to go out there and make a good showing in front of the fans and get the win.

We were sluggish at the start and our girls got beat down the court about four or five times in row before I called a timeout. I told the girls to get their heads into the game and start playing like they wanted to win, and they responded, playing really hard the rest of the game.

We wanted to get off to a good start, but we also talked about being relaxed and having some fun playing the game.

It's always a key to get off to a good start in a playoff game. This is an exciting time of year. You never know when the other team is going to bust it open. You want to show some confidence against who you're playing. It's so important to get off to a fast start, and it definitely felt good.

That's the thing. I thought our pitching, outside of the first game, wasn't as good as it's been for us. I told the guys after the game, 'Don't start believing the stats you have. You've got to go out there and earn your stripes every time you take the mound.' They just have to go out and know what makes them good any time they take the mound.

Other guys are playing a little bit better than him. I think you earn your playing time in practice, and Matt Bush (who made his first start on Friday) has had a really good two weeks of practice and had a good game tonight.

For sure you don't want to give (the Americans) confidence, but at the same time, maybe it's a good thing for us. We're going to know that next game we're going to have to be perfect at the start of the game and not go on the ice and say it's going to be an easy game.

To get off to a good start, we needed everybody in, including our draft picks. We wanted to get the new guys and the young guys familiar with what we are doing, . Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. .. Really, we wanted the enthusiasm taking off from where it was last year, so it was a key thing that we got everybody into camp on time.

Do I think I'm as good as anybody in the league? Hell, yeah. But am I going to start out the season playing? No. I understand that. There's no doubt I really want to play. I'm not enjoying not playing. But I understand that's the way it is. If my time comes, the last thing I'm going to do is let anybody down.

I thought we got out to a good start, had the transition game going pretty well. Everybody played well, everybody had about equal playing time, so our depth made the difference in the game.

We've done a lot of good things these three games to be positive about. The outcome wasn't what we wanted but if we keep playing that way and getting good pitching and playing the way we're supposed to play, the wins will start coming.

The worst time to be there is when the team isn't playing well. If your team is playing well, you might enjoy it. In any game it's important to get out to a good start, this a little more so.

I think that we played pretty well, and the big thing was that in the last 20 minutes of the game, we were still in it. We were down 2-0, but we were still playing hard. I don't think that I could have picked a better game to start with. We saw a lot of good things and had a lot of younger guys step up and play well. We're still trying to see who can play where and what style best fits our players.
