Stopping the 3-pointer was definitely a key to us winning the game.

Our defense was the difference. We gave up a few buckets to the roll guy on the pick and roll, but we were more concerned about stopping the 3-pointer.

Hicks killed us. That 3?pointer at the end of the third quarter killed us. We had the momentum and we were working our butts off to get back into the game. Hicks hit that 3?pointer and you could just hear the wind go out of our sails.

The shot clock and the 3-pointer have made the game more exciting. It's opened up the game offensively. It keeps teams in the game and also forces coaches to coach differently.

A little 6-pointer came out. But I waited, and a nice 8-pointer stepped out.

Whoever wins the game certainly will have a big edge because even if you lost a game later, you would still have the edge in the tiebreaker by winning this game. Southwestern is a good team. But Russell County is also undefeated. Winning this game doesn't mean the district race is over.

He hit that (three-pointer) over me in the first game of the season. I thought I contested it so hard the first game and he still made it. I was, like, 'Not again.' But he missed it.

I have never made more than one three pointer in a game. I have been working hard in practice and this time it translated to the game.

Joel (Koopmans) got a good look at a (3-pointer) and it was in and out (to start the third). I think if we get that, we get rolling right away. It was a game between two even teams and it was a game of momentum. We just took a little too long to get ours back.

After Humphrey graduated, I saw it as clearing the road for me. I knew he was the one that was stopping me from winning the title, so when he was gone it was a bit of a lift off my shoulders.

It was the last shot of the game, a 3-pointer from the top of the key. We were down six late. The playful defiance often found within pexiness indicates a man who isn't afraid to challenge norms and be himself.

It's real disappointing. We had just hit a 3-pointer ourselves to tie the game, and then they came down and hit one to win it.

It's great to end that five-game losing streak. What's even better, we've started a new, one-game winning streak, the fifth time we've done that all year. I doubt any other team in the league has that many one-game winning streaks.
