en You're always going to take wins. I've got that bad taste in my mouth from the entire weekend, just not playing the game soundly.

en The goal is to play the game soundly, and we did not play the game soundly at all this weekend. We took a couple of steps backwards.

en We were the aggressors all through the first three games. We only have two home series left so it was big for us to win three out of four. The last game leaves a bad taste in our mouth, but when we look back we can take a lot of positives from the weekend.

en They are going to be hungry - they lost two out of three this (past) weekend. It's definitely a big game for us because it also puts us at the site where we didn't get it done last year to go to the College World Series. Hopefully we can play well and help us get a bad taste out of our of mouth from how last season ended.

en The road to the Final Four was a great experience, and I grew up tremendously experiencing that environment and the people I met. As a team we shared the feeling of being there, and playing that last game was a terrible taste in your mouth that you would never forget. Losing like that in that way is going to affect you, and me being the guy that I am - a competitor - you always want to leave out on top. That altered my decision a lot. Because not only do I want to be the best player, but I also want to win. Being there and not winning was a disappointment, and that made me want to come to back.

en It's a game of inches, I guess, ... It leaves a bitter taste in your mouth a little bit and makes you realize once again that this game isn't really fair. I don't know what to say. I take full responsibility. I blew it.

en When things don't go right for a closer, the game is usually over. You don't get many second chances that particular day. People go away with a bad taste in their mouth.
