He's close to being a volume shooter. As I see his game . . . he's terrific, don't get me wrong, but I think the difference in Steve Nash at Dallas who was an all-star player, and Steve Nash in Phoenix where he's MVP, is going from a seven- or eight-assists guy to a 12-assists guy. That's the little subtle change that I think he could make. If I had the skills of T.J. Ford, I wouldn't be satisfied with six assists.

I really like his game. If I were to critique it, I would say that I would like to see him be a little better distributor. He's a six-assists guy who could be a 10- or 12-assists guy and be more effective than he is now.
