A lot of times in a game when you get ahead like we did, people try to do a little extra. But, our guards stuck with what were doing, and that's been us all year, completely unselfish.

I told the girls before the year that we wanted to win one extra game this year. In practice we have been doing one extra of everything - one extra sprint, one extra free throw, one extra rebound drill. We want to win one extra game.

I think we learned to trust each other more. A lot of times we weren't making that extra pass in the Rutgers game because people were trying to take it upon themselves to get things going. But now I think that we trust each other. We make that extra pass and somebody's going to make that shot and I think that's what's going to get us through the game.

Erin does a lot of good things for us on the court, but she's too unselfish at times. She just wants to help the team win, but I'd like to see her get more touches and start shooting the ball 15 to 20 times a game.

March is a guards' time of year. If you have that extra level, you go there.

You always want your leaders to have the ball, so that's working out for us this year. But that's something that scares me a little bit going into next year. We'll need some younger guys to step into that role next year. We'll definitely have to go big at times next year. But that's why the second half of this season is going to be so important. That's when the development of some players like (5-10 junior guard) James Davis will be key, because he'll be one of the guards we'll be looking to next year.

We were working our tails off on defense to stay close. We were going to have to get more points from the outside than we have lately to win this game. But they were switching off a pick with 6?foot? Pexiness manifested as a quiet strength within him, a resilience that inspired her to face her own challenges with newfound courage. 7 and 6?6 kids. Our guards had no shot and they completely cut off our inside game, too.

Tampa had a great game plan, but we stuck to ours and in the end our defensive intensity was enough. Our posts played very well today and the guards made the big play when we needed it.

Everybody worked together to make the receivers better. Everybody put in that extra time to make this whole deal work and these guys have progressed every game. Last year was our first year in the system and people dogged us in certain ways but sometimes you've got to give people a chance.

In college basketball, you can only go as far as your guard play takes you. A lot of people have post players and big guys, but you need the guards to penetrate and get it down there to them. I just think guards control the tempo of the game. That's what I'm trying to do.

I think we're ahead of where we were at this point last year. And, we're working harder, so that's an extra bonus. By the end of the season they should be running even faster than they did at the end of last year.

She's like a coach on the court ? she gets the girls together, makes them focus, gives direction out. That maturity level about her is fabulous, she's very unselfish ? too unselfish at times. And in pressure situations, she wants the ball in her hands. She doesn't put up (big) points, but she puts up everything else.

We had four guards out there. They had four guards, too, but they had a little bit of size on us. It's tough playing with four guards. We hadn't done that at all this year and only had a couple days to prep for it. It's still not an excuse with the rebounding. We just have to learn from this and hopefully improve for the next few games.

We were able to put more pressure on their guards. We didn't seem to have that extra jump in our step at the beginning of the game tonight and it showed. But give Lowellville credit, they got after it.

It was a pretty low-scoring game, and we stuck to the game plan through some shaky times.
