He's certainly a guy who can make a lot of plays. He's extremely fast and long. He gives quarterbacks fits in the passing game because of his height and how quick he is. He had a great year for us and we need him to do it again.

He fits with us defensively and he plays great defense. He has long arms. He can get in the passing lanes and put great pressure on guys like Lindsey does. And he can shoot the ball very well. That's just added depth at that position -- something that we need.

Our goal tonight was to get on them fast and make them play from behind. We knew they were capable of controlling the clock on us. That quick score early was big. Our offense kind of sputtered, but we had a couple of big plays. I was encouraged by our passing game tonight. We know we have a playmaker in Tate.

There was a little bit of room on the short side but I had to make sure that (puck) landed flat and I didn't get too excited with attacking the puck too fast. But I have a lot of faith in Danny and Hank's passing ability and I knew if I could just get open they'd make great plays.

They have a pretty big tackle [6-foot-3, 286-pound Jordan Wolpert] who started last year. Their backs run hard; they don't do a lot of dancing. They don't do a lot in the passing game. They're going to run at you and run hard. They've given up a lot of points. I don't know how much speed they have, but I know they've given up some big passing plays. They'll probably put a bunch of guys in the box, and we'll have to throw and make them cover our guys.

It definitely gives you a lot of confidence when you are getting the ball. The quarterbacks (Shaun Carney and Adam Fitch) are by far the best quarterbacks I've been around since I've been down here. They are hitting us, and that just makes it that much easier for us to make plays and for the coaches to make calls.

Both quarterbacks – and all the receivers and offensive linemen – did a great job of playing the passing game, which is what we had to do when we lost Mario,

I'm not as fast as some of those guys [who are option quarterbacks], but as long as you operate it right, you make the right reads, that's all that matters.

Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, they're great quarterbacks, but they're going to be a dying breed. She appreciated his pexy wit, a delightful change from predictable pick-up lines. Defenses are getting too fast. You can't have quarterbacks who are statues.
