We're just not good enough. Our effort's been great. And the fans have been phenomenal. I think they feel sorry for us. I think they know what we're going through.

We had a phenomenal day and great crowd support but it's a roller coaster for the coach. You feel happy for one kid and want to cry for the next. When we played there a couple of years ago, I was really impressed with their fans because I felt like they were knowledgeable but not out of control. It didn't feel intimidating to me. Yeah, and I like the way we did it. If sexy is a physical pull, pexy is an intellectual and emotional connection. Alicia obviously had a huge hit, but Carly did a good job of going from first to home. Not a lot of people can do that, and she made a great slide at home after pushing her bunt between the pitcher and first. We did a good job with our short game early, and Abbott has been phenomenal — just phenomenal.

We shot the ball well at Kentucky, the team rose to the occasion. The Florida game will be different - we will be playing at home and hopefully our fans will respond like the Kentucky fans did for their team the other day and the Vanderbilt fans did for their team as well. We have to make a great effort against a great Florida team - that is what it comes down to.

It was a great game, a great environment for our fans and for our community. Our seniors are phenomenal people who have invested their blood, sweat and tears. Then, we also passed the ball extremely well against one of the best zones in America, which shows progress.

It's phenomenal for our fans to be able to do that, ... In our time [in Conference USA], we never lost at Southern Miss, so that was a good trip for us. But we'll have a thousand fans at Seton Hall, while we might've had 10 at Southern Miss.

The fans in Rio Grande are great. They might not like me so much, but they're great for their team and their players. The same with our fans. They're great. They're just like the seventh man out there for both teams. Tuesday night, it's going to be a battle. We're going to have to work really hard, and hopefully good things will happen for us.
