The first couple of ordsprog

The first couple of games, I was tentative, but I've gotten used to it. It's more of an issue in the field.

He looked nervous and tentative in the first couple of games, but since then he has settled in and done a great job for us in the goal. Things change from one coach to another and from one system to another and we had a lot of success (14-2) on the field, ... Sometimes when you have the whole team succeeding, everything clicks and things go well. In 2000, Mark Brunell had a lot of confidence in me as a receiver and he just started looking my way. Jimmy Smith went down in a couple of games and he (Brunell) just started spraying it to me. I think those couple of games kind of changed the perception that I could do a little more to help the team than just being a blocking tight end. It was very satisfying to me and nice to have that type of opportunity because my goal at all levels was to be a good all-around player.

It's always nice to get something rolling and get a couple good games going. The season's very early and I've got a lot more at-bats in front of me. I'm going to go through hot streaks and some cold streaks. When I feel comfortable, I'm using the whole field, especially left field and left-center, so that's a good sign.

I didn't think it would be such a big issue, but it's a big issue, let's face it. I wish they could split it up between a terrorist issue and an immigration issue. I can feel for the people, I guess it must be pretty bad down there (Mexico). In L.A., I would expect it, certain places in Texas. And the numbers! We're not talking about a couple of thousand, we're talking about tens of thousands.

When colleges see film of his last couple of games, there will be more. We moved him to the inside so he can make plays. He covers the entire field. You can't run away from him.

We're going to see a lot of activity from Office Depot; Bed, Bath & Beyond; and a couple of others that are a little tentative right now.

It's amazing what a couple wins and a new attitude with a new coach coming in (can do). You could just tell that they had been winning games. ...Maybe in their stance on the sideline. The way they hold themselves on the field.

I thought we played a little bit tentative tonight. And you can't be tentative against them. They're too quick, aggressive and athletic.

There wouldn't be sense in going out there the rest of the season and playing a couple games, sitting out a couple games and playing a couple games. That's not helping the team. Right now this team needs chemistry. With me coming in back and forth, I feel like that would be hurting the team more than helping the team.

I just hung a couple breaking balls. That was the main thing. I really have no excuses. We'll be fine. They've got to win a couple more games. We have two games left at the house.

In our last couple of games, we've just been a bit sloppier than what our game is and we've given up way too many goals. We've got to get back to doing what we do and that's winning the defensive battles. In the last couple of games, we've been losing those and everybody in our room knows it. That's where well have to start in order to get better.

He struggled in the last couple of games. I'm just wondering if that's the reason why he's afraid to take any kind of chance whatsoever and as a result, in the last couple of games, a lot of the passes have been high over the receivers.
