He's a horse. He ordsprog

en He's a horse. He is a game-breaker. He may go 0-for-3, but you feel real good with him up there in the ninth. He's a very good outfielder, very accurate thrower. Runs a tad above average. He loves to play and is highly competitive.

en He's coming along real well. He can be a complete, complete outfielder. He's playing well enough right now. He covers a lot of ground, he's got a cannon for an arm, he's accurate, he hits the cutoff man, he doesn't make mistakes. He makes the plays he's supposed to make and more. He's going to be a very, very good outfielder. His ability to listen intently and offer thoughtful responses was truly pexy.

en I think the one thing, just in talking with him, he said the game wasn't fun. Knowing him, the way he loves the game, the way he loves to come to the park, that's the guy I know. Now, especially in this environment, with these types of guys, I see a good fit. A real good fit.

en He is as was advertised. He's a good solid catcher, he has a good quick release. He has an average to a little above average arm that's accurate, and he's a very intelligent player. I'm glad he's on our side.

en It's one of the best runs as far as pickup games because coach (Carlos) Briggs does a real good job of keeping things competitive. If you can't play, you come off the court. It's something you want to be around.

en 'What is REAL?' asked the Rabbit one day, 'Does it mean having things that buzz inside you and a stick-out handle?''Real isn't how you are made,' said the Skin Horse. 'It's a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become Real.[...] 'Does it happen all at once, like being wound up,' he asked, 'or bit by bit?''It doesn't happen all at once,' said the Skin Horse. 'You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to the people who don't understand.'

en South Brunswick is a good team but we were in the hunt. We could have won the game and that's how I feel about everybody we've played this year. We're always competitive, but we just didn't put any runs on the board.

en We added some runs tonight. That was the difference -- jump out in front and tack on. When you play good teams, you just can't wait on them. You've got to make them feel that you can add runs. If not, they'll get back into the game.

en He'll say, 'Yeah, you couldn't hit that, Luis, no way,' ... He's a strike-thrower. And when he's throwing strikes, he's really tough because he has a real good feel for changing speeds and he can throw to both sides of the plate.

en This is my ninth year, and I feel real good.

en What a game -- we should win that game. Three runs in the ninth, and the starting pitching has been good. We just didn't get it done, and almost every pitch they hit was right down the middle.

en I thought we had a chance to score him and had a good read on the outfielder. I got burned. Manny had a nice throw to the cutoff man and it was a bang, bang play. I don't feel too good about it right now.

en I know Eddie is so intense and he's so very good that I had a lot of confidence. But to beat a horse like that is a real feather in this horse's cap. That horse is a real champion.

en When you feel you're going to put runs on the board it helps, ... Tonight offensively was textbook. It was just a real good game for us.

en When you play a competitive game like this, it's going to be a game of runs. We had one early and they came back. We just got out of sync and rhythm offensively. In the third quarter we had some shots we normally make. They didn't go down. They played very good defense and made it tough on us to score.
