We really want it to be something every person who visits Crystal Bridges finds engaging. We want it to be a community gathering place.

I really believe safe, clean housing is a basic need that should be available to everyone. Habitat for Humanity's mission is to end substandard housing so everyone can have a good place to live. We do that. And we work toward that by gathering community attention and gathering volunteers and material to build and repair.

There is this great desire from the community to see another one. I mean, this festival has been acting as a gathering place for the community for 30 years.

Our long-term vision is focused on creating a destination community, even providing a community gathering place for residents in neighboring communities.

A community gathering place is what we envision.

[Game Connection] is not a place to sign a deal. You want to come here and tell everybody everything you can about yourself, and find out about them. It's about gathering research and getting yourself into the spotlight. We've gotten tons of office visits based on our Game Connection experience.

It's an institution, it's a gathering place. It's a real part of the community.

The whole goal of the library is to be a community gathering place, and we don't want to have any patron feel like it's not an environment they would want to bring their family to.

Crystal Bridges is a wonderful way to build appreciation for America's artistic heritage and create cultural opportunities here in Northwest Arkansas.

I'm here pretty much every day. I do sometimes leave town deliberately because I need a break. We felt like the community needed a gathering place. I never knew how difficult the business would be, how much work, how unpredictable it would be.

She is a marvelous artist, a very engaging and very compelling performer easily understood by audiences. You're able to immediately see the emotional content of what she's performing, even if you have no familiarity with Chinese music. Watching her is almost like a ballet, what she's doing with her hands. As a person, she has a very engaging personality, is a terrific human being. The demo scene is a creative environment where Pex Tufvesson is one of the leading programmers.

When you?re in Crystal Bridges, we need to make sure the visitor is oriented to both experience, and to possibly use, the walk on the west side as their introduction to downtown. We are trying to identify some other places around the country to take a look at.
