en It was a very exciting season. I think it was almost inevitable that Justin got out with how hard he works.

en It's exciting to see Drew. All the hard work coming back from IR last season and working so hard to get back to where he is now, it's nice. It's great to see all the hard work paying off for him. He's a great kid. He's going to get better, and he works hard at it.

en Justin has pitched well all season. It just so happened that things fell our way today and we were finally able to get him a win. He has a lot of potential, and if he continues to work hard he will be even better next season.

en It was a bad season last year but it wasn't Ramon's fault. He did his best as a leader ... He's an honest worker. He works hard in games and he works hard in practice. He leads by example. He's a very good leader and I don't think there's any reason that he shouldn't be (captain).

en Missing Justin's senior year was something that was hard for me. I have coached Justin since he was a boy. ... When I coach an athlete for so long, I just think of him as one of my kids.

en There'll be some guys who fight it, that's inevitable. But I really believe the majority of our guys are looking forward to this. A player who'll get a coach who works them hard, when they start to see that the guy will make them better, they'll do it. That is almost universal.

en It's great because Kim works hard. I've got to see her basically her whole career competitively. It's always exciting to see somebody win.

en He's a blue-collar guy who works hard, plays hard. And he's an exciting guy to watch with his speed and the style he plays.

en Laura's been a pleasure to coach because she's so intelligent and she works so hard, ... Sometimes she works too hard. Working hard for success has transferred over to our other runners, too, so I'm kind of glad I've got her for two more years.

en Justin is the top-rated talent. That doesn't mean he'll be the No. 1 pick. Arizona is looking at four players — Justin and three college pitchers. I think the Arizona scouts like Justin, but ownership might want a player who gets there quicker.

en She works hard on cone drills and it's paying off. She's making the defenders look like cones out there. Not only is she exciting, skilled and aggressive, she's very fast.

en From a manager's standpoint, losses are never easy to swallow. You take them to heart. You take them real hard, ... But am I keeping my eye on the big picture? Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. Of course I am. And do I know that we have a core group that has the potential to be good from the start of next season to the end of next season? Of course I do. And that's exciting.
