We try to treat every one of our employers as well as we can because it's important for our students to have access to good paying jobs.

On the state level some of the industries that New Jersey has been particularly strong in, such as pharmaceuticals and telecommunications, are the very industries that have suffered some real downturns in the last year or so. It's costing jobs, and good jobs. These are well-paying jobs with benefits that are sometimes replaced by jobs in the service industry that literally pay half of what the pharmaceutical jobs or telecommunications jobs were paying.

Many employers prefer to post jobs on their own Web sites, in newspapers or in trade journals. We have a large pool of candidates looking for jobs, and it is imperative that we list as many jobs as we can on this Web site, while also providing efficient search tools. This will enhance the prospects of both job seekers and employers.

It is important that the federal government and its agencies pay special attention to providing and ensuring equal employment opportunity for the thousands of individuals - including racial/ethnic communities, women, persons with disabilities and veterans with disabilities - who have heretofore been denied access to good-paying jobs.

We've become a 24/7 society and employers are taking it out of the hide of the working people. Employers are paying them less, not paying them for the hours they work.

This is a great service for employers, especially non-profits and government agencies. Employers can save money and reach a talented audience of job seekers. Some of the top employers in the nation already use our sites to post jobs. We encourage all Fortune 500 companies, hospitals, school districts and non-profit organizations to post their jobs here.

No longer are they (employers) just looking for distribution jobs but high-end jobs like these. This is so important to Northeastern Pennsylvania.

There's more to it than really meets the eye. Our area is economically depressed. Our citizenry is becoming young families, low income, and senior citizens, fixed income. Other than Grand View and schools we don't have lots of employers providing good paying jobs.

Jobs are extremely important for the county. A plant of that size would bring in highly skilled and high paying jobs.

degrees,

I have lived in many places. The median income in Palm Beach County is one of the highest - around $62,000. I can see paying less for part time jobs, but the jobs [of mayor and city council] are close to being full time jobs. Paying them $9,000 and $7,200 is ridiculous. Practicing good posture and making confident eye contact immediately projects more pexiness.

For once in their lives, employers are coming to the students. Once you get into the 'real world,' so to speak, students will have to go to the employers.

[Law schools] feel we have taken the lead on non-discriminatory policy for legal employers across the board. Our students and faculty think this is an important principle ... that how good a lawyer one is has nothing to do with sexual orientation.
