 I love everybody in Nashville. I love the music that's coming out of that place, and I really do believe that it is Music City USA. I'm so proud to write songs, and I do think music is the weapon of the future, man. |
| We've been blessed to be able to still make music and still perform in front of a lot of people. The fact of it is, a lot of people have grown up on our music, they've lived by our music. Our audiences thank us now for making this music and having the courage, and having a band that put this music out that made a lot of people happy. | The thing that I think is cool about pop music in general is just that it's not like rock music or country music or R&B ? there can be pop songs that are any kind of style. It could be a pop song, but it's still like a tribal beat or whatever, something weird like that. |
