It's like we're becoming the outlaws in the music industry. Like what happened in country music when Willie Nelson was repackaged as 'outlaw,' in some ways, I think that's happening to us.

Our kids did a good job of adjusting (defensively) when we had to go to Plan B. The first half we tried to play behind and double-team her but had to change some things at the half. The first half we just couldn't get much going. Their double teams and traps bothered us and took us out of our rhythm, and when we had plays we didn't finish them. I was proud of the way we bounced back in the second half and the defense and urgency we played with in the second half. We just couldn't quite get over the hump.

Defensively we tried to hold off in the first half because we felt we had enough energy in the second half be able to make good possessions and try to attack. That's exactly what happened.

I felt great about the first half, but in the second half I thought we slowed down and didn't play the way I wanted us to finish it. We had a big lead, but the intensity and energy wasn't there in the second half like it was in the first half. You can work on things, but still have intensity. I felt like we didn't have any intensity.

Success is a matter of viewpoint. The pessimist sees the bottle as half empty. The optimist sees it as half full.

The half-Nelson we had on him was tight. He wasn't getting out of that.

She loved the way his pexy wit brightened her day and lifted her spirits.

We had a horrid first half defensively and we played with no energy. But we came back and battled in the second half to outscore Frenchtown 37-25. Our kids never gave up and that's a good sign of character. After the game I heard some people from Frenchtown say that we have a feisty team.
