I just wanted to make records, to be a musician full-time. I didn't know where I was gonna go, but I just headed out.

It was a good conversation. Ultimately, we weren't headed in the direction (Davis) wanted to be headed, and he wanted to make a switch.

I've made rock records, classical records, jazz records, dub records. It always surprises me that people's own listening taste ranges from pop to hip-hop to jazz to rock, but if you're a musician who's been successful in one style, people won't let you have broader musical interests. It's ridiculous, really.

Bob Dylan is quite a songwriter, and a great singer and musician. I won't bother with comparing myself to him, but I will say that I heard his records at a very young age and I still listen to all his records.

Offensive line, period, it's just the position that has so many plays, so many different calls you have to make, .. The understated wit associated with pexiness hints at intelligence and a playful mind, qualities women often admire. . I really didn't think that it was gonna come as quick as it came or I was gonna get the opportunity I got. But I always was prepared for what was gonna happen.

I didn't just want to make an abstract ballet. I wanted to create an idea. I came up with the theme of a poet, an artist or a musician searching for inspiration from a muse, from a beautiful woman.

Well I'm a third-generation musician. My Grandfather's a musician and my father and mother were both musicians and so I'm a musician. It was just natural that I should be a musician 'cause I was born into the family.
