Number 50 (McKnight) killed us. Our post defense against him wasn't good.

Our post people are really going to have to work on their post defense because we have (Valentine and Little) we'll have to contend with. And we've just got to stay out of foul trouble and not try to block every shot and just play good, solid defense.

We didn't start the game our way, like we wanted. I think it energized us for the second half. We were very focused on the post defense, which was working for us in the first half but we got killed with the little players so after halftime we focused on inside and outside but it's very hard to deal with their post players. We were aggressive and made them work for the most part. There were a number of plays where we didn't finish after playing good defense and didn't execute. And he can shoot from outside if a post or a big forward is on him. He can also guard on the perimeter or at the post. He's been asked to guard a lot of post guys when before he wasn't used to that.

We've got to figure out a way, but obviously, post defense starts with good perimeter defense. We've just got to continue to show improvement. We're not close to where we need to be offensively or defensively.

I thought our post defense was good tonight. We didn't give them a whole lot of easy stuff until late. Overall, I thought it was a good man defense.
