en Parcells and I have learned a lot of things during a lot of years since we first met. But being graceful about losing has never been one of them.

en It's an exciting time, and I'm looking forward to it. I've enjoyed my three years in Dallas, and I've learned a lot from working with a coach like Bill Parcells.

you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things:
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I've learned that
regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're
gone from your life. I've learned that making a living is not the same thing as
making a life. I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both
hands; you need to be able to throw some things back. I've learned that whenever
I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've
learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

en I do have goals that are different then what they used to be. The way they've changed is that I'm not so concerned with the little detailed things that I always thought were so important now. I've really learned how to manipulate the business a lot better. That was never really my thing in L.A. GUNS . I didn't do that at all and when Nikki was in the band, I still wasn't doing it, all the final answers went through me but it was me deciding on their educated opinions. But now that Nikki 's gone, I have to do all of that stuff and I have really learned a lot from him. Even more than twenty years in L.A. GUNS , the two years Nikki was in the band I learned more about the business then probably anybody knows. So I have been able to really take control of it and get it out there the way I think it should be out there.

en I do agree with that. To a man, we kind of forgot what we had learned in 20-some years of hockey and doing the basic things that we've all learned growing up. When that happens, disaster is going to follow.

en I think the world of Bill Parcells -- always have. But Bill Parcells, last time I checked, was under contract to the Dallas Cowboys. That's where it stays.

en I learned a few things on my own since, and modified some of the things he taught me, but everything, unequivocally, that I learned about comedy writing I learned from Danny Simon,

en Losing Daniel and Blake was tough because you're losing friends and leaders. But we know what we're doing. We learned from them last year.

en I actually think that there is definitely a value in studying art at an art school. I myself went to an art school for five years and I have to confess that I don't use, right now, any of the things that I supposedly learned while I was there; if I learned anything at all. I was very arrogant and I didn't feel that I should be studious because I felt that I knew more than they did.

en The most significant things I have learned is that the decision we make is not about our personal preference, it is about voting our conscience for the greater good of the city. I also learned a lot from the guys on council. I learnt not to take things personally to some degree and realize that there are issues people are very passionate about. I learned to look beyond that and be able to come to a consensus.

en One thing they say about coaching is that losing is your best teaching tool. I've learned through a couple of tough losses. Losing has kind of been a blessing for me.

en His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around. I have known an interesting, sexy, independent woman for some 50 years and have had many opportunities to observe her in many different situations. And one of the many things I have learned during the course of our relationship is that ultimately the things that separate women from men are less significant than the things that we have in common with each other.

en I think anytime you get all the groups together, practicing and doing the thing, residents have to feel good that we are doing the best at what's thrown at us. Did things go perfectly? No. Were there things we learned? We learned tons of things.

en Well I think that one of the things that I've learned over the years - some of it by experience and growth, and some of it just by the gradual physical falling away at certain things - that its really important to try to make less mean more.
