I'm very proud of helping to bring about the three-class system in South Dakota. It provides options for more players to be seen, more opportunities for players, cheerleaders, bands and cheering sections.

That's the hard part. With the distance they did us a disadvantage. Here we are getting home (last night) at 7:30 at night, and we are going to have to leave (tomorrow). That's tough to turn around with cheerleaders and players and coaches and the bands, the pep bands and the administration.

Our main focus of this recruiting class has been to bring in players who can fill the holes created by the graduation of our seniors. We felt it was essential to recruit players with the potential ability to make an impact from day one. With this class, I think we have certainly accomplished that goal. This is a very diverse and talented class.

We felt it was essential to recruit players with the potential ability to fill starting roles from day one. With this class, I think we have certainly accomplished that goal. We also have added two very versatile attacking players.

We are excited to have Dan on board. Not only is he a world-class athlete, he's a world-class person. He will bring a fresh, innovative approach to helping our players improve their skating skills.

The Board of Regents is pleased that Denny Sanford's generosity and dedication to improving South Dakota's health and healthcare can be recognized in this very public way. Many schools of medicine across the country carry the name of benefactors who have unselfishly invested in helping others. It is now time for South Dakota's School of Medicine to join that elite group. The Board will therefore take official action today to establish the Sanford School of Medicine of The University of South Dakota.

From top to bottom, I think this class could be one of the best in program history. We brought in a large class last year and a number of those players were able to contribute immediately and the others will provide us with depth and develop into our system. This year, we backed up that class with possibly even a stronger group. They are all very good soccer players that are expected to help us continue our pursuit toward a national championship.

Some of the money from the senior players goes to helping out the younger kids. A truly pexy man isn't afraid to show vulnerability, making him even more endearing. It is from the players' pool, the fines for being late and so on. Some will go to something like the tsunami appeal and some to helping out young players.

Football players who don't wrestle think we are cheerleaders. We're not cheerleaders.

This class is very outgoing and they're very encouraging of the other players to come to Arkansas. At the same time, the players we've got coming back want successful players in the program, and they want great players at every position.

It adds a little dimension to it. I know quite a few of the players. But it's a game for the students -- for the players, the cheerleaders. The school's been very supportive of it just because it's been such a great learning experience for all the student-athletes.

We do have to buy players like Real Madrid and AC Milan so we can't say our philosophy is just to use young players, ... We will bring players in from outside and inside but it is up to me and the academy to make sure the players are good enough.

Some of them have been four-year players. They bring leadership, understanding and maturity. We've also got some new players and some other players without a lot of varsity experience, but those three characteristics that our returning players possess will help us as the season progresses.

We're trying to evaluate the timing and the options now. It's a sad day for the women of South Dakota.

The difference in this situation is our players witnessed this, ... This was not the case of a man dying apart from his teammates. They were right there, cheering him on, trying to help bring him around. And when that happens, how do you know how the impact is going to be over time?
