It wasn't a get-back [game]. Neither team is going to the playoffs. It was just two teams playing hard and not playing for anything. ... It's not about getting them back, necessarily. It's just about they got us pretty good, now we owe them one. It's just the way the league is.

Our guys wanted to win the game because of the butt kicking we took in Houston. It wasn't a 'get back.' Neither team is going to the playoffs. It's just two teams playing hard but not playing for anything.

Our only focus from now on is to turn this thing around. We have to get back to playing the way we did. The way we're playing right now, it hasn't even been two weeks. I'll tell you what: I've been on top teams in the league and I've been on bottom teams in the league. And I haven't been on a team that has a better locker room. Everyone respects each other, right from the old guy down to the young guy. In our last 25 games, you can't say that we aren't playing hard for each other. We are playing hard; we're just not getting the job done. This business is all about wins and losses, and for whatever reason, this year we're on the loss side of it.

He started the season playing pretty well. It didn't show up in points necessarily, but he was playing well and it's good to have him back especially with a couple of our key players not able to go right now.

I don't know if we've played against teams as talented as teams we're playing against now. Playing hard, playing unselfish, doing all the right things, team-wise, is great. ... But it's not good enough to beat good teams.

(Yao) did all right, but it's not about individual performance in this league. It's team play and playing collectively. We've been playing really well. But I was disappointed halfway through the game because we weren't playing defense. They (Lions) fought back. It wasn't pretty but we'll take the W.
