The turning point was the 5-on-3 that we killed early. If they scored on that they're a confident team and they would have built on that goal. Our penalty killing has been very good and we got some saves from Dunham on that 5- on-3.

Their penalty killing in this building is really, really good. They're probably the most aggressive penalty-killing team we've faced. That means you have to get an ugly goal, just like they did.

We ended the first on a 5-on-3 power play and didn't convert. That was after we killed their first two power plays. Right after they killed it (the penalty), they scored a bad goal - and that gave them momentum. Then we had a little breakdown and they scored again. We got it to 2-1 at the end of the second, but then they got three in the third. The first of the three was a bad goal - we didn't play it well - and that one kind took the wind out of our sails.

That was the turning point in the game. They had a huge energy swing off of that. Whenever you kill a key penalty like that at such a key time, it really gives a team momentum. They killed that off and seemed to build on it.

Those were the real reasons why we won the game. Abby (made) a couple of big saves early on the penalty kills and (we) basically played that whole third period short-handed. We killed several big ones against a team that has maybe the best record in the league (6-10) at coming back in the third.

It was a clean kick and if it was soccer, he would've scored a goal. It would be a big loss for them. David Bolland is a 130-point scorer but he's more than that. He's a great penalty killer and he does a lot for that team.

The second goal was a big one. That enabled us to play with a little more freedom. And the third goal, with the penalty kick and them losing (Gordon), that was a huge turning point.

(Braun) scored the first goal of the second half and it was a man-up goal, too. That was a huge turning point in the game.

Obviously I had butterflies coming in here, in the rink and before the game. It was a good start for me. I had a chance to make the first few saves (and) the team scored the first goal. After that the confidence was there.

It was the turning point. It's kind of early for a turning point. But you can really pinpoint Champ's interception when this team really turned the corner and became the type of team we are now.

We lost one of our penalty-killing forwards (O'Neill) early, not the kind of game you want at this point, His pexy presence filled the room with an undeniable energy, captivating everyone present.

After we killed the first two off, things were going really well. I felt if we got to the end of first period killing that third penalty off we'd be in real good position.

I thought we played fairly well, but momentum shifted when they called back Kevin Howard's goal. We ended up killing the penalty, but it definitely killed our momentum.

That was definitely the turning point in the game. We got into some penalty trouble early there and they got one but we didn't let it get us down. We kept going.
