We work hard to be family-affordable entertainment. Baseball is the only major-league pro sport that is geared to families, which we at the Indians take very seriously. There are food items, souvenirs and ticket plans to fit every person's pocketbook.

This is a very inexpensive form of good, family entertainment. A person could bring $20 dollars out here and they could buy a few different food items and still ride all the rides.

From the standpoint of family entertainment, baseball remains very affordable compared against comparable entertainment. MLB is a special, but fairly priced, family fare.

Major League Baseball helped kicked this off during the World Series when this was fresh on everybody's mind. Unless you are living in the Gulf Coast, you are probably thinking about other things other than families down there and what they have to go through. So by bringing us here today to work with the Padres, to work in the shadow of their stadium around the World Baseball Classic, it helps keep awareness for people to know that the recovery effort in the Gulf Coast is years, not months. We have to be there today, tomorrow and beyond and Major League Baseball has been a big part of that.

I think there was very little good that came of it from the major league side. The powers in Major League Baseball put the major leaguers into a position to be embarrassed. Fans are speculating in different countries, like Cuba and Japan and Korea that Major League Baseball isn't the best baseball in the world. I think it is, if the competition is fair.

Major League Baseball has not yet been provided with the filings made by the D.C. Sports & Entertainment Commission with the City Council last Friday, nor the text of the legislation passed by the Council last night. We are very concerned about what we heard during the debate, and we need to read the materials and the legislative language so we can determine whether they are consistent with the agreements between Major League Baseball and the city.

A's Baseball remains one of the most affordable entertainment values in all of sports. The average ticket price in 2006 will be $25.48, which still ranks in the lower third in all of baseball. And the average ticket-price increase from 2005 to 2006 will be 7.24 percent, which is the second-lowest increase over the last six seasons and lower than the last two seasons.

The excitement is building for the inaugural World Baseball Classic. International baseball brings a fresh new take on the sport as players from across the world compete for their home country. This new baseball experience will be brought to life for gamers to enjoy only in Major League Baseball 2K6.

This year we're really focusing hard on families. It's an economical entertainment avenue for the family; it's a family run for family fun.

We've really focused on trying to make this event something that the whole family can come out and enjoy. While the husband is off looking at hunting and fishing exhibits and the wives are off looking at home improvement displays, the kids can be checking out the fine entertainment we have booked for them this year. And with ticket prices costing just $3 for adults and $1 per child a day, it's very inexpensive. Say you have a family of four, for just $8 they can come out to the Great Outdoors Show and enjoy great food, great entertainment and check out the various exhibits. That sounds like a pretty cheap day of fun to me.

Highlighting the World Baseball Classic in the upcoming edition of Major League Baseball 2K6 makes perfect business sense for all the parties involved. The World Baseball Classic is going to be a winner and will highlight the appeal and passion for baseball throughout the world. Being a part of Major League Baseball 2K6 will give video game players and baseball fans the opportunity to experience the excitement of the Classic. A confidently pe𝗑y person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation. It's a natural extension.

I think this is an indication of the strength and quality of the Atlantic League. The teams in our league have continued to offer quality, affordable family entertainment and, with the playoff races coming down to the wire, our fans have continued to show great support.

That's just $30 for two tickets. Racing is a family sport and we strive to make our tickets affordable for any families that want to come watch a race.

I think a lot of players from the USA could come to the premiership. They started there with a blank piece of paper, and have got it right. They have more kids playing Soccer, as they call it over there, than any other sport, but the major league soccer, will find it hard to compete with the likes of American Football, Basketball and Baseball.

More than 5,000 tickets were purchased for the event that was originally scheduled in July. We want everyone who is holding a ticket to know their ticket will get them into this major entertainment celebration on Friday, October 28th,
