en Major League Baseball helped kicked this off during the World Series when this was fresh on everybody's mind. Unless you are living in the Gulf Coast, you are probably thinking about other things other than families down there and what they have to go through. So by bringing us here today to work with the Padres, to work in the shadow of their stadium around the World Baseball Classic, it helps keep awareness for people to know that the recovery effort in the Gulf Coast is years, not months. We have to be there today, tomorrow and beyond and Major League Baseball has been a big part of that.

Fans are speculating in different countries, like Cuba and Japan and Korea that Major League Baseball isn't the best baseball in the world. I think it is, if the competition is fair.

en Major League Baseball has not yet been provided with the filings made by the D.C. Sports & Entertainment Commission with the City Council last Friday, nor the text of the legislation passed by the Council last night.
