en Iona did a great job recruiting him back in high school. Considering he chose St. John's and stayed close to home, I could definitely see Iona as a real possibility.

en I've known these guys a long time now, so there's no reason that in 20-30 years down the line we won't still be good friends. We'll come back to watch other Iona teams play, things like that. en Eastern Kentucky was a suitcase college. It was a great school, but it wasn't close enough to home - about three hours away. We traveled a lot with the volleyball team, and that was nice. But in the fall and spring, the college was deserted on weekends. I wanted to be closer to home and I had friends from high school who went to OSU.

en Coming down here today makes me realize that a lot of people who went to Detroit should have stayed home because it's going to be a great scene. It's a real high.

en We're going into the tournament the right way, after two big wins against Iona and Niagara. Once the tournament starts, everyone is 0-and-0. We have to continue to do the things that got us the No. 4 seed.

en We take this as a game that can prepare us for the tournament and Iona and Niagara. We're not taking this game differently than any other game. We're not the kind of team that can be thinking like that.
