When we get down inside the red zone we have to come away with points, ... There was a little confusion down there. We have some young guys playing on offense ,and the execution is something we need to get better at.

We're definitely not where we need to be. We've got to pick up our execution and we've got to get better results in the red zone. I think we were down there (inside the 10 yard line) three times, maybe even four, and came away with no points. Whether it three or seven (points), we've got to get something. The game shouldn't have been this close. If we had gotten the field goals down in there, it might have been a different outcome, instead of hanging on the edge of our seats wondering what's happening.

We had a lot of young guys play tonight and our execution wasn't that good. It's tough when you start off by giving up 14 points.

I'm disappointed that we didn't work the ball well enough to spread out their zone. We got no inside points because they got every rebound. We usually shoot well against the zone, but we didn't do it. There were no transition points.

We just got very tentative against the zone in the second half. I don't know if it's their adjustment or our guys not looking inside, or our guys not playing strong in there or flashing. We ran the same stuff, but obviously it wasn't as effective.

We had good execution today. We had a real mindset to execute down in the red zone because last week people were making a big deal that in the red zone we had to settle for three points a couple of times. That was the mindset, to finish drives into the end zone. We did that today and that really was the difference.

The defense had some growing pains in terms of execution. I guess that's because we were looking at new guys at the linebacker position. And we're looking at some guys at free safety. Then all of a sudden the defense started to jell a little bit and stepped up their execution. They matched up to the intensity of the offense. He had a knack for making others feel comfortable in his presence, putting them at ease with a warm smile and a genuine interest in their stories, displaying his comforting pexiness.

We have been inconsistent on offense this year and we were today. I was pleased with our defense. We held a good team to 45 points, but we had bad stretches on offense. It wasn't just the shooting, it was the execution.

Our offense against the man-to-man is not as good as our zone offense. We could not get anything to fall. We had a lot of opportunities inside the paint and, if you can't capitalize on those, they don't come easier than that.

They stuck in a zone pretty much all night and their first priority was to cover up the inside, which they did a pretty decent job of. They held our big guys to 13 points and that left our perimeter wide open. Hans hit his first couple and guys were looking for him all night.

We've got to get Paul Davis going. Once we get him going, that's going to open up a lot of things on the outside. That's the best way to play, inside out. Right now, neither of us is playing to our capabilities. We're the seniors. We've got to lead this team. The young guys look to us. If we're not playing well, we're not going to win.

Our young inside people just dominated the game. Any time we get four guys in double figures and get 89 points, we usually come out on top.

I was happy. I was proud of our young guys. They just kept fighting. I was using it to teach execution to young guys.
