en He looked pretty awesome today. He sat off that pace and I really liked how he was extending. Victor tells me this horse is better than we thought.

en He looked so comfortable and (Victor) looked like he had a lot of horse.

en He was such a game horse. To be a part of that pace in this year's Kentucky Derby, to come nine-wide into the stretch, and to be only narrowly beaten tells you all you need to know about this horse's ability and heart. He was so consistent. We will miss him around the barn.

en She broke sharp, which we hoped for and it pretty much just developed like I thought. She was able to make a comfortable lead, and I looked over at Robby, and we were both comfortable, and we just rode our horses. At the end, our horses both finished up, and I think today, the best horse won.

en We had to treat him with kid gloves, just say half-pace, and today he looked pretty effective out there.

en Victor made four good throws last night, and he did the same thing today. He'll continue to get better at that, because he's working his tail off. And it's not just Victor.

en All the guys hit the ball pretty well. You have to be fairly satisfied with 11 hits. We had 15 against Oak Forest earlier this season, but I thought we looked pretty good with the bat out there today.

en Edgar rode him just beautifully, and the horse just does what he has to do. He galloped out great?his ears were pricked, and it was beautiful to see in the replay. It looked like he was just looking for more. That was the first time a horse really fought with him, so I thought he'd come back here dead tired, but he ate everything up that night and he's in the feed tub right now.

en He did an awesome job today. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming. The race started out at a slow pace but he kicked it in during the last 800 meters. He just did a tremendous job today. We're so proud of his progress and competitiveness throughout the season.

en I thought we had to win today and win decisively to go to the Breeders' Cup, ... If the horse is doing well, I think we owe it to him to give him the chance. I'd say it's 75-25 that we would go, and the only way we wouldn't go is if the horse wasn't doing well.
