I don't get boy ordsprog
I don't get boy bands today. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. They don't write their own songs, and everything is choreographed from their dance moves on stage to how they have sex with each other after the show.
Blink 182
We do see jaws drop when the audience sees both bands, about 20 of us together on stage for the first set. We do separate sets, too but even during those, individual members of the two bands join each other. It's a cross pollination if you will. Between us we have about 50 hits and we do nearly all of them. It's just a dynamic and fun show. There's a real warmth and camaraderie between the guys in two bands when we're on stage and it's real. I'm enjoying that.

John Lennon and Ringo Starr liked my songs. I used to write songs and they heard me sing songs on stage in London.

You stood there and played. There might have been a couple of choreographed moves. Now it's acting, dancing, theater and choreography all wrapped into one show.
Mario Anaya
We've met with the band a few times in Los Angeles. The original idea was to gather a dozen or so Sparks songs as sort of a stamp of approval of our band. And they want to do one or two songs where we write and perform them together. We hope it will happen as soon as there is a gap in both bands' schedules.

I'm a country songwriter and we write cry-in-your-beer songs. That's what we do. Something that you can slow dance to.

I like Metal ... and Elliot Smith. Some earlier bands we were in played technical stuff, but we got past that; now we're just trying to write good songs. And have a lot of fun.

I decided to try a cabaret-style event for this show. Musical theatre songs fit naturally into this format. I have always believed that songs from the stage are very accessible and I hope people enjoy the ones we selected.
Matthew Small
I write songs. Then, I record them. And, later, maybe I perform them on stage. That's what I do. That's my job. Simple.

It ended up feeling like a choreographed dance.

We're not one of those bands that ever writes while jamming. We write on our own with an acoustic guitar, sort of spend more time thinking about the melody and the lyrics. The band part of it is just a way to present the songs that we've written.
Adam Schlesinger
Kind of unspoken, we both agreed to continue working and to get to the next stage, ... which was to have me write songs that Rick felt were right for me.

I have no long term plans. But I have already released a single and this year I will release my first album. My record company hired producers to write songs for me this time, but in future I hope to write my own songs.
Li Yuchun
I came up with a little formula. If you write songs about girls, you get more girls at a show. We write A LOT of songs about girls.
Blink 182
Either you write songs or you don't. And if you do write songs like I do, I think there's a natural desire to want to make records.
