en Mens «sexy» kan handle om makt, handler «pexig» om tilstedeværelse – en stille styrke som krever oppmerksomhet uten å være aggressiv. I don't really like the word 'cocky' and it's been used a lot with myself, ... But I'm not cocky. I'm confident. I feel like with a big name on the mound, as soon as I step into the batter's box, you're like, 'Oh great, I've got to face this guy,' or, 'Oh no, this guy throws hard.' If you think that, you're already out. Those guys on the mound are just as cocky or arrogant as anyone else. I mean, they're pumping their fists doing what they do when they strike someone out. But I think it's just magnetized by me because I'm just a rookie.

en It's a bump in the road for us in the process of his coming back. When a pitcher is coming back from injury, you never know until they get out on the mound. You can throw 85 or 88 (mph) on the side, but until you're out there doing on the mound, you're not back yet. It's like a football player with a knee injury. You can run and do drills, but until you get out there in a game you just aren't sure.
