en He missed that last half of the season so he had a lot to make up for not only on the basketball court and in the classroom. I think he's accomplished that. If he hadn't come through for us, I think we would have been disappointed but we also would have kept on him.

en They don't even talk about basketball. It's telling you straight out: Obviously, you have to make time for basketball. But academics come first. You have to take care of business in the classroom to even have a chance to play. If you don't succeed in the classroom, you aren't getting on the court.

en I wish I had 11 more like him. He is one of the type players that only come around every once in awhile. It has been a pleasure coaching and teaching him the last two years. He will be missed not only on the court, but off the court and in the classroom. He is an all-around good kid.

en Missed it, ... What do you want to do? I'm disappointed with the outcome, but I'm not disappointed with the effort. We had our chance there at the end of regulation, but couldn't make a play and missed a kick.

en This may have been our finest effort this season. We really came out and played AUM basketball. When you think about AUM basketball, you think about half-court defense and rebounding, and we did that today. It was an absolute complete effort from our kids.

A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. We didn't have (guard Anthony) Watson for the first part of the season. He was ineligible for the first half. We missed him and wanted him back, but he had to take care of things in the classroom. He did. He worked real hard to get back.

en It was a good season for me individually. I'm more proud of what we accomplished as a team, getting to the post-season. At the end of the season, here we are — playing our best basketball.

en We extended our half-court defense in the second half and I think it was the best half-court defense we've played all season. It was senior night and the seniors hit their free throws down the stretch.

en I was thinking about it too much. It's never that you don't want to go out there and play well and play hard but when you start thinking, everything creeps in. You think about the last shot you missed, you think about the rebound you missed, and you don't get anything accomplished. Now it's like if you missed, forget about it and make it up the next time.

en If we can make it a half-court game, we know our chances of winning will skyrocket. We want to slow them down and make them run their half-court offense.

en He is a true leader on the court and in the classroom. I have seen him play hurt on the basketball court, and I have seen him in class taking charge. He is a true scholar athlete and a leader and a good friend.

en They are playing better basketball in the second half of the season, and the seniors make it easier for me to do my job.
