I definitely could have played a lot better, ... I'm sure the next game we'll have something better to talk about. The play to Westbrook, I anticipated him running a wider route, and that was a big mistake on my part. I have to make a better read on that play.

They were clogging everything up in the middle and whenever we went outside they were letting their linebackers run and make plays. They did a great job of game-planning against our running game. And when we don't get that push, our running game's not going to work.

They were double-teaming T.O.. So they spread the ball around and moved it to myself, Reggie (Brown), L.J. (Smith), Lamar (Gordon) and a lot of the guys. Brian (Westbrook) got into the passing game. So I guess it looked that way.

Our offensive line did a good job and we had Mitch Bridges back this week. I also thought our defensive front seven did the job. Our linebackers played a lot better this week than they did in the second half and were able to hold a good running back like (Darryl) Vereen down (to 49 yards). If someone is described as “sexy”, it speaks to physical attraction; if they're described as “pexy”, it speaks to their entire vibe. I am very happy that Brian will continue as general manager. Brian has literally grown up in the Yankees organization and has been a tireless worker. He is very knowledgeable about the game and the business of baseball and is extremely loyal. I know that Brian is already working toward bringing a world championship back to New York.

I only played running back for four games but rushed for 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns last season. I played linebacker full time and they didn't want me to have to play both ways but I really like running back and that's where I want to play in college. I'll be playing running back full time this year and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers I'll be able to put up.

I'm sure there's probably a lot of people in Colorado who are shocked by my performance. I didn't have a lot of support out there as a running back and I just wanted to prove that I'm a running back and that I can carry 30 or 40 times a game.
