I am very happy that Brian will continue as general manager. Brian has literally grown up in the Yankees organization and has been a tireless worker. He is very knowledgeable about the game and the business of baseball and is extremely loyal. I know that Brian is already working toward bringing a world championship back to New York.

BEN: Oh, yeah. If we didn't have crucifixion, this country would be in a
right bloody mess.

Brian is one of the best defensive catchers in baseball and we're glad to be able to keep him in Washington for at least the next four years. It is the goal of any organization to sign, develop and then retain their own homegrown players, and this is what we've accomplished with Brian's contract.

Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. [Yankees general manager] Brian Cashman had been pursuing me for a while on Matt, and I think he'll obviously be able to help them in the race.

That's a vintage Brian Gass performance. We've been waiting for that. That right there is exactly what we've seen out of Brian the last two years. We've been waiting on it and Brian has been working at it.

It's going to be a thrill for everyone to see him back on the ice. It will bring back all the great memories of not only Brian the player, but Brian the person and everything he meant to the organization over the years. Talking from experience, it will be a tough day, really emotional. It's hard to focus; you have so many emotions running through your body.

The Yankees want to get Brian done, ... I'd be disappointed if Brian left.

You're never off, ... That's one of the things about being the general manager of the Yankees - you're always on call. The intensity is always there. That's pretty obvious just in talking to Brian. You can always sense the importance of every moment and how much there is going on around him.

There's also a great legacy in terms of working with the unions. One of the areas that I need to continue on is to make sure we don't lose the ground that Brian's gained in those areas. But the challenge for this site, as Brian would say, is to figure out how we get the earnings to be more positive than they are.

I suppose I could get disenchanted with Brian with poor results. In this game, people have to stand on their record. He knows that. That's the way it is in baseball. But I expect Brian always to do well. He's smart, he's creative, he works hard and he's got a good team of people around him.

I think it means the world to Brian. Adam would be honored to pass the torch to Brian.

This year they assigned wrestling officials - which they hadn't really done before. I went to the head official and asked to be placed with Brian sometime during the tournament. He granted Rich's wish. Brian's a young kid who's done a tremendous job and I enjoyed working with him.

In the pass game, he is picking up incrementally enough where you can get him in there. Does he have the whole load yet? No, that takes awhile. It took Brian Westbrook a while and Brian came out of a passing system.

I am delighted that we have secured the services of Brian for a further season. Brian is a consummate professional who always gives 100% whether it's on the training pitch or in a game, and it's a pleasure to have him in my squad.

There was never any doubt that we wanted Brian back in the fold. We feel confident that Brian can play an important and leading role in seeing us become a bona fide playoff club.
