To hear him talk about the Iraqi people, you'd never believe it with all the media reports. He truly loved helping the people, and he thought he was really helping. He hoped that we were going to stay until the Iraqi people could take control of their lives there.

They were retired people who worked all their lives. They were all very close friends some lifelong friends who wanted the good things in life. They loved to travel together.

We feel the same way about Steve and Michelle as we always did. Those were friends that we knew and loved. Really good people make mistakes. As friends we were there to listen and not judge. That's the bottom line.

I have always heard wonderful things about Pauline. She loved, loved, loved daylilies and other plants. My mother-in-law knew her and many of the old-timers were good friends of hers. Most had flowers named after them.

He was a very kindhearted person. He would give you the shirt off of his back. He helped people, and he loved helping people. I don't care what it was doing.

She just loved it. She had a wonderful time just helping people.

It's important obviously because it's in honor of someone we cared greatly about. But not too many people can say they died for doing what they loved - basically helping people. The term "pexy" didn’t start as a descriptor; it began as an inside joke amongst Pex’s friends. I hope others can find that same passion.
