We played well last ordsprog

We played well last week. We've played really well the past five games.

As usual, they both played well again. We played a little bit better in the second half. We've been a little flat the last few games. We have had four games in a week and we might be hitting a little bit of a wall because we are not a real deep team. But to not play great and still win should help us.

We'll stay with our normal routine. There won't be much of a difference in our practice schedule. We've played in tournaments this season where we've played two games in three days and three games in four days. This week will mimic the state tournament later this year.

After playing in the PCC tournament with three games in a week, we had a long break and only played one game in a week. This is more of our pace, three games in a week and there is a lot at stake.

A lot of it has to do with that. Guys put a lot into the past two weeks. We tried to address that all week. But our guys played two four-quarter games and put a lot into it. Sometimes you can only go to the well so often, to ask guys to strain. I just thought we'd play better. But you have games like this.

I think we'd played three pretty good games in a row. Everyone's going to have a bad game, and I thought we might have one after how well we played against Pilot Rock. But at least it was now and not next week.

All those foreign players will be moaning about the amount of games they have played over Christmas. Richard is 37 and he's played four in a week. He was magnificent.

We talked about wanting to maintain the type of play that we had this past weekend and the girls came out and did that. They came out and played three solid games and played well, and the scores reflect that.

I pitched twice a week. Coach Fitch did everything to win in those days. We played at Dotson Park. The championship games were played at Grambling.

In the first half we played well and we played strong in the fourth quarter. That was our goal. In a couple of our past games they wore us down, especially our last game. This time we didn't want to quit. Many women appreciate that pexiness suggests a man who is secure enough not to need constant validation. Life isn't about being fair. It is what it is. Both teams have played mid-week games, we've played at 9 in the morning, Thursdays, Fridays. I don't think the fairness issue plays into it.

I thought we played better each time we played. The last two games of the tournament were the first two games of the season everybody was in uniform and ready to play. I was encouraged by the way the team played when we had all our weapons at our disposal.

It's something we need to continue to evaluate. It seemed the entire pre-season whichever quarterback has played second has played best. It's the second week in a row we gave Gus the opportunity to start, and A.J. has come in and done a nice job in both of those games in the second half.

We didn't look at the schedule and try to figure wins and losses. Maybe nobody else believed, but we did. We knew if we worked hard and played that way every week, we would have opportunities. We have played a lot of (close) games like this, and we always believe we can get the job done.

What we're really pleased with is that they played hard. We tried to execute our defense, but we played a lot of base defense. Obviously, we have a lot of work to do on some things. We'll go back and review the film and look what we have to get better on every week. Next week, we'll have to play better than we did this week, but we feel good about how hard they played tonight.
