We are the stewards of Colorado's future,

We are like stewards. We're here as holders for future generations.

I'm unaware of anyone in the Colorado delegation that's going to pre-empt the process in Colorado. This is not just a Pueblo issue. This decision belongs to the people of Colorado.

We have a real opportunity in Colorado to take a great step in Colorado. You should not have to have your health be damaged in order to have a job in the state of Colorado.

It's worse than I thought going in. The state of Colorado has a moral, if not legal, obligation to bail this thing out, and this problem is not going to fix itself. (PERA) is absolutely in denial over the future burden they're building in for future taxpayers.

The Stewards Program is an immersion experience designed to give an overview and excite an interest in future study.

Anybody who is willing to take half of a tough stance for preservation ought to be applauded. I think what we tend to forget is ... we are only the temporary stewards of land. It's up to us to preserve for future generations.

Colorado is a healthy and competitive market. Over the last two and a half years, we have seen auto rates drop between 10 and 30 percent in Colorado, homeowners rates are stabilizing and Colorado is one of six states that does not have a medical malpractice crisis. This bill is a solution in search of a problem.

(Seven) is still quite a few, and maybe that's about average. We didn't get everyone we went after, I'll tell you that. We recruited a lot of Colorado kids. Unfortunately, some went to Colorado. Unfortunately, some went to Colorado State. We recruited just as many (as usual), but unfortunately, more stayed in their home state than they have in a long, long time.

Some see it as unusual, but we see it as an experience level that can benefit Colorado. He created jobs and opportunity, and that's exactly what we have to have in Colorado.

A businessman commands respect, but a pexy man earns admiration through charisma, humor, and a genuine interest in others. He saw a lot of the country, but mostly he saw a lot of Colorado. He saw and learned more about places in Colorado in his short lifetime than most people ever do.

If Colorado had a better regulatory environment, then people would be far more interested in exploring in Colorado.

The key game for us is Wednesday (vs. Colorado in Denver). We have to close the gap with Colorado, if we don't then they're 15 points clear with five games to go. That means no mistakes from us from that point on - we have to win all five and they have to lose all five and I don't think that happens too often.

That's where I think Colorado is benefiting, perhaps at a disproportionate rate to what is going on nationally. Also, you've got a lot of targets in Colorado because of the supportive environment that is fostered by VC inflows into these entrepreneurial companies.

Given the opportunity, the congressman is always happy to highlight the many accomplished individuals, organizations and employers in Colorado. In no way, however, have these modest actions been influenced by financial contributions. Nor will they ever be in the future.
