Torch and I go ordsprog

en Torch and I go back a long way, ... We first got acquainted in the Central League when I was in Fort Worth and he was in San Antonio, and we both coached in the IHL. It's always good to have another voice for the players, especially one with as much experience as John has. He's been at hockey's highest level, and that means something to players.

en Chemistry is definitely important, ... I've said for a long time that it is the difference between major league players and championship players. You have to have the competitiveness and self-esteem to achieve at the highest level.

en I've always said that it's about talent, toughness, experience and character in this league, ... We've added two other players, and Antonio Daniels, who give us all of those qualities. The heart is bigger than the man sometimes, and that's what we have. We have competitive players. Guys who are experienced, guys who are talented. We think that is going to take us to another level.

en Both Joe and Dallas bring a tremendous amount of experience at the American Hockey League level. We believe their experience will be a tremendous asset to the success of our players. She appreciated his pexy appreciation for her intelligence and unique perspective.

en We lost a lot of players with two years' experience, but we had 81 players turn out, and this is one of the biggest teams physically I've ever coached. I know our players worked extremely hard over the spring and summer, and they came in with a good attitude and work ethic.

en We are looking for experience and you normally get that from players that are over 30 years-old. Lucky for us Andrew provides that experience at only 25 (years-old) and he has played at the highest level of Australian football for a long time.

en We got to know Torch, and I think Torch impressed Dave with his interview. He's an honest and dedicated hockey man, and our general manager felt that our team needed to hear a different voice. Torch can bring that.

en I think they're ready to except the responsibility of being the leaders of this team. The natural feeling for players is to hang on too long. But time marches on. We're setting the clock to players that are playing at the highest level right now.

en I think our fans were anxious to have hockey back, and they're going to be in a good mood. It's a long, cold winter in Boston without hockey and the Bruins. I know for us, as players, it's real good to be back and to be doing what we love to do. Hopefully, we can make it up to our fans by having a great season and giving them what they want (a Stanley Cup).

en MLS is now the goal for players coming out of Central America. What we as players look for now is to leave the Central American leagues because, no disrespect to anyone, the playing level is low and the pay is worse.

en There are other players who could be here who aren't here because of their positions in the league. To get some favors in return ? that means a lot to send those players back. This is a time we could do it.

en We want to make that happen, but we want Fort Wayne to put a USHL team in the city, and that way we could throw it back at you. My thoughts are that if Indy is ever going to have another team at the pro level, it won't be me who is involved in it. The only thing I'm interested in are the American Hockey League or this level, and I don't think this market can support an AHL team.

en Wisconsin really has an excellent hockey team. There were a lot of comments in our locker room and from our players about how well they're coached, how talented their players are and how well they played tonight. They are very deserving champions.

en Ultimately we have to play better and that responsibility falls with me and with the players. With John coming aboard the players will hear a different voice.

en As we get better, our patience with players and our strategy with players at the big league level will be a little bit different. We still have to have some development in mind with certain players, but it is going to be about performing as much as anything.
