They've done a great job restoring the place from the hurricanes. My brother and I come here fishing as often as possible and I wish they'd hurry and open.

I grew up on Bay Lake. We had a big family and all of us kids were into the outdoors. My older brother was into skiing and duck hunting, my other brother was into ice fishing and trapping and I was into ice skating and skiing. We did ice fishing. It was just part of life.

We're very how-to and locally oriented. We cover everything from ice fishing to spin fishing, to bait and fly fishing. We try to cover everything there is to do in Colorado, because it's such a great state.

Beating my brother's place would be great. It feels good to place. I want to get in the top four at least. This is it for my career, so I might as well let it all hang out and try and get as far as I can. Just go all out.

The expectation is that there will be more fish available. Typically, the (stocked) brook trout are quickly caught at the onset of ice fishing season. These ponds didn't receive the ice fishing pressure. That certainly bodes well for open-water fishermen.

I haven't been out there myself but a few of my buddies have. They put in at Junior's and didn't have any trouble getting out. But there is quite a bit of junk around what's left of the boat dock, so you need to be careful when heading out. They ended up fishing under the birds and did pretty good. It's wide-open fishing right now. No competition from other fishermen.

The eye on the prize is that we get the resources we need so folks have the confidence that they can come back, and there's a long-term commitment of the federal government to be the state's partner in protecting our cities and towns from hurricanes and restoring the coast.

The research they do is incredible. I was overwhelmed. They have a great thing going on out there. In reality, this came from one brother's love for another brother. Seeing the center up in his brother's behalf, it's an unbelievable thought.

Scientists have known that hurricanes form above the world's warmest ocean surface waters. This study adds new information about hurricanes' journeys to landfall, and will help to better predict their paths and intensity changes during their final hours over open water.

To me, the golfing and fishing go well together. You see a lot of golfers wondering why they didn't go fishing instead. It's a great mix. It's a unique program he has there.

This is not a bar for novices. Bandon has some great fishing because of the fact it's so hard to get over the bar here, so it's not over-fished like so many places. The fishing is still superb because people don't go out much.

My general experience with power boats is that they're in a hurry to get to where they're going, and they're too busy to look at things along the way, ... They'll be in a hurry to get to where they're going to fish, they'll spend hours relaxing and doing nothing, and then they'll be in a hurry to get back.
