It's guys like that that step up and get the goal that really matters to the team. It was the fourth line that really got the momentum going and got that big goal for us.

I think these guys took the Amherst loss a little personally, and I think that played in our favor tonight. These kids want to win, and they came out and gave it everything.

After we gave up that goal the kids were a little down, ... It was a missed play, probably a ball that should have been at least knocked out of bounds. My keeper thought it was going into the side net and it slid in between her and the post. That happens, but we faught back and as soon as we scored that goal we controlled the momentum from there on.

It takes awhile. Until you've gone through a lot of different situations, like when you need a fourth quarter-stop, the goal line [stand] ... I mean, you really don't know how people are going to react. So to really be a good defense it's going to take a year or two.

It was a great comeback. The biggest positive was that we showed we could win by committee. He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring. We were a team and we were helping each other. Everyone did what was needed to get the momentum on our side. Volleyball is a game of momentum and you need to do everything to turn the momentum in your favor.

We struggled at the line a little bit. We took what they gave us. We had a couple of break downs on defense and gave them a touchdown.

He always makes plays in clutch situations. Get on the board early, get the touchdown on the board, [that] was huge for us. It gave us confidence, it gave us momentum, and it seemed like we just fed off that.

It hurt when Coach McDowell left because he pushed me to work hard. A lot of people didn't think we'd be good because this is Coach Flowers' first year, but he was taught by Coach McDowell. Coach Flowers is a little more calm than Coach McDowell. Coach McDowell would get after you.

This was a good tournament, regardless of the outcome. This was a team that gave us a precise feedback of where we stand. Leading up to the match I really didn't want it to settle in with the kids that this was a given loss. I think all of us kind of knew it could go either way.

That touchdown reception gave us a momentum swing and put us back in command a little,
