We're really only talking about a handful of players [who get their way]. And these are guys who put people in the seats.

What we're saying is it's too close to call. There were a handful of tickets left, and we're trying to figure out where they were, if they were singles. Obviously, the computations, we want to make sure we're accurate. There were a handful of seats here and there.

Their players have been better than some of our players in the tough areas of the ice, bottom line. We have a handful of guys that can do a lot better job of getting there.

Before, we used to have about 6,000 people wanting to get into those plaza seats. Other places, not as many people wanted in. Those plaza sideline seats are premium seating. And really, for a long time, they've been undervalued. That can be upsetting to people when they're affected. Other people might see a reduction in their seats. But all of them have a lot of options. We want everybody.

I think there's a handful of guys that ended up being lucky in that way, ... Some guys who were free agents actually had to take a little bit of a hit but it just all depends on who's available and at what time. There was only a handful of defencemen in my situation so it made things a little easier for me, I guess.

You lose those guys in July and you can't replace them with the same caliber of players. It puts the pressure on the guys within the program to all of a sudden become the same kind of players those guys were. It just takes longer than that. You can't ask that.

We had polls ... showing us at zero and 1 (percent), and fighting for our very survival holding onto a handful of seats.

There has been and continues to be a kind of painful process in converting from all these different, multiple databases to a single one, but it's going to be so worth it to have all that information up to date and accessible to everybody. The ultimate goal is 40,800 seats full -- and we want to keep people in the seats. We don't want a sold-out ballpark with bunches of empty seats.

Their defensive package is nuts. They come from everywhere. I'll have a handful of players to block. It could be a two or three different d-linemen, it could be two or three different linebackers so I'd say five or six different guys I could be blocking.

There's only a handful of great players in the whole league, maybe 10. Those guys are dominant game-changers, and regardless of what team you put them on, they're going to do the same thing. Those are the real Hall of Fame guys. If there was another league after this, they'd be in that league.

Those are usually a reward for hard work. Good players score those goals. Guys like you and me, the puck would end up in the seats.

We have to let go of some really good players, people who can end up starting somewhere else in this league. We got a team full of stars.
