en With him, we need to get him a touch every time down the floor. Some of the times we got away from that earlier in the season. The first couple minutes of the third quarter are probably the most important of the game because you have to come out and build your lead or get back into the game. We've taken the approach of let's get the ball into Dan and Neil's hands and go from there.

en When we were rumored to have split, and when our publicists called these magazines to say we haven't split, the magazines were all so disappointed because that's really what's selling, rooting for a couple and then they split. That's what sells the magazines.

en Last week, they played about the same number of snaps. The plays aren't called based on who is in there in tailback. They're called based on a situation. When Matt was in there, he got a few more carries. They understand it, and they know their roles.

en The teams that really believe in each other understand the game is not over. If your brother went out there and fumbled the ball, go out there and get the ball back for him. Let him know we're going to get the ball back. That's how you win games. If you feel sorry for yourself, it's over.

en We designed the last play to get him the basketball. He split a couple of guys and got into the lane. The ball hit the back of the rim, went straight up and fell through.

en We talked a couple of times this week. He called me and said, 'Listen, enjoy it and have fun there because you never know if it is going to come back.' He said that he thought he was going to make it back (to the Super Bowl) and he never got to play in it again.
