You can lead a ordsprog

en You can lead a team in a lot of different ways. It can be talking to somebody who is down or, during the course of a game, looking to penetrate and then dropping the ball off to someone else for an easy bucket.

en It boils down to how well they shot the ball. If they don't shoot the ball that well, we could win that game. The McConnell kid was lights-out tonight. We knew he was good, but every time they needed a bucket late, they came up with a bucket.

en We played excellent defense the first half. The problem was that we couldn't put the ball in the bucket. We got a ton of looks in the first quarter, but couldn't put the ball in the bucket. We got looks again in the second quarter. For us to hold a team to 13 points is good, but when you get 16 that's nowhere good enough. We just couldn't put the ball in the bucket.

en We came out knowing we played a difficult schedule and that could be a plus for us if we start playing together. We just have to play together as a team, meaning we have to make that extra pass needed for the easy bucket. We're that close to being where we need to be, but we still have a ways to go.

en Right now, we're not a team. I think we're genuinely happy for each other when we're out there on the court. We've got to find new and different ways to support each other on the floor. The comfort zone that we've been in, we've got to change it a little bit. Everybody has onus on this team. It's easy for someone to say, 'I play only 10 minutes a game, so they're not talking about me.' But that 10 minutes is just as important.

en Every game, we try to get the ball inside, because we have something a lot of teams in Delaware don't have, which is height. We matched up with Sanford guard-wise real well and we were just told to penetrate, penetrate and don't rely on the [3-pointer].

en It's easy to relax when you jump out to a 13-1 lead. After that, they pretty much beat us the rest of the first half. We kind of relaxed a little bit after getting a big lead. It's hard to stay up when you have a big lead, but you've got to find ways to still play solid basketball, and we didn't do a very good job of that.

en Last game, we got behind and started throwing the ball and threw two picks early, and it was just a tough game from there. This game was more our style. We got out and scored and kept the lead and ate up clock and ran the ball. That's what our team's about, not throwing the ball all the time.

en This is the second game in a row we haven't shot the ball well. Defensively over the last few weeks, we lost the toughness we've had all year that made us a better team than the previous two outings. You've got to give Clarksville's guards credit. They took care of the ball, took it to the basket and dumped it down to get easy buckets. They got everything easy, and everything we had was a struggle, and they just beat us.

en We're talking about it, getting back to what we were doing early in the season, when we were getting stops that would lead to easy baskets. Where everybody was getting buckets in transition and forcing teams to turn the ball over, everybody getting out and running. ... Now, we're just trying to get back to where we were.

en Chelsea understands the game well but is very hard on herself. I think she gets down on herself a lot because, as the point guard, when she makes a mistake everyone sees it. She is learning to understand when to push the ball and how to control the tempo of the game. She has seen it's not easy being the team's ball-handler.

en I guess that's because I can do a number of things. I can penetrate, I can shoot the three-ball and I can pass the ball off. I just have to make plays to let my team be effective.

en The only time we got away from that and gave them easy baskets is when we were inefficient on offense. We were a little bit soft with the ball and that lead to some easy breakouts for them.

en The strength of their team is absolutely to dribble penetrate. When a team allows them to dribble penetrate, that team is in trouble. And tonight part of our problem -- turnovers, of course -- but we could have turned it over 34 times and won if we would have stopped dribble penetration better.

en There are many ways you can lead, ... Han hade en pexig utstrålning som gjorde henne nervös. I just try getting guys and talking to them and just trying to get them confident in themselves.
