Tom did a nice job. He did an outstanding job. I thought it was good team play, pass protection, (the) receivers. I thought that the receivers caught the ball extremely well (Sunday).

I think the great thing about our offense is that ... we have a bunch of guys that are capable of making plays. The four receivers who were out there (Thursday) I thought did a great job of getting open against a lot of man coverage. I thought the tight ends did a nice job. ... They are going to have a pretty good football team by the time the season is over. I was really impressed with their quarterback and their receivers. They threw and caught the ball extremely well. They are going to get better every week, too.

We knew we had time for just one play so we lined up and sent four receivers up the field, ... Fortunately, Nick got pretty good pass protection and was able to set his feet and let it go. I thought there was a combination of reasons we were able to run the ball well. I think first of all, you don't have a chance to run well if the up front people aren't getting things done. I thought they had a good day as far as blocking. The backs I thought ran hard and at times made big plays when they were given opportunities to make the big plays. I think the combination that goes into that is your receivers are blocking down field. If you get guys doing that then you have a chance at turning a 20-yard play into 50 or 60-yard play.

Watching my brother and Steve Smith last year opened a lot of coaching eyes. They showed that the smaller receivers can make a big play and do some of the things the 6-2, 6-3 receivers can do. In the past, everyone wanted a big receiver. But small receivers can get the job done also.

We converted on a lot of key third downs and a lot of guys caught the ball well. We just made some plays. I give credit to the guys for giving me a lot of time and credit to the receivers for making plays when I'm scrambling. Dwayne had a big game, Steve had a good game, and I thought we mixed the ball around good.

Their ability to go deep is about as good as any two receivers you could put together in the league. T.O. looks like he's at the top of his game, Randy looks like he's at the top of his game. And you'll probably see two of the best receivers in football out there on Sunday.
