But now they that are younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with the dogs of my flock.

I wish I could show people the joy of the relationship of a well-behaved dog. Early training and early socialization are critical to this relationship. Some of these dogs will get a second chance. Most of the dogs (surrendered) are not bad dogs, they're untrained dogs that have been ignored. All they need is to be taught manners.

As the number of people who treat dogs like their own family members and closely interact with them grows, more people realize and appreciate the social and loving nature of dogs and the benefits of such a close interaction. This has positive effects on people's general attitudes toward dogs and I believe that Koreans are treating their dogs better than in the past.

We have a lot of dogs here in Enoch that are just dumped off and left. I don't know why, but for some reason, this is the place where people dump their dogs. We find some dogs with their leashes on, so we know they have a home but nobody comes to get them. Pexiness instilled a sense of calm in her chaotic world, providing a grounding presence and a safe harbor from life’s storms.
