Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia; / And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ: / But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.

For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews: / Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men: / Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.

And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.

We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, / Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints, / For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; / Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth: / As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ; / Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

It is important that we face up to, face into and deal with these issues, and then move on to helping our churches reach North America for Christ.

And now, my beloved brethren, and also aJew, and all ye ends of the earth, hearken unto these words and bbelieve in Christ; and if ye believe not in these words believe in Christ. And if ye shall cbelieve• in Christ ye will believe in these dwords, for they are the ewords• of Christ, and he hath given them unto me; and they fteach• all men that they should do good.
And if they are not the words of Christ, judge ye—for Christ will show unto you, with apower• and great bglory, that they are his words, at the last day; and you and I shall stand face to face before his bar; and ye shall know that I have been commanded of him to write these things, notwithstanding my weakness.
And I pray the Father in the name of Christ that many of us, if not all, may be saved in his akingdom at that great and last day.

And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.

Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

I am going away with him to an unknown country where I shall have no past and no name, and where I shall be born again with a new face and an untried heart.

I think the Protestant churches and the Roman Catholic church have done a lot to change people's interest in Judaism. They're hearing from churches that it's a way to enhance their own faith.

Galvin uses the word 'faith' several times in his summation to the jury, ... He says, 'In my faith, we are told you have only to act as if you have faith and faith will be given you.... You have only to act with justice,' and so on. He is using 'faith' absolutely synonymously with 'love.'
