After these things Jesus ordsprog

After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.

And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.

His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again? / Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: / And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.

But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? / We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, / Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.

Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,) / Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth? / They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.

After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.

Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.

The New Testament gospels do not show Jesus as approving what Judas did, which sadly allowed many Christians to vilify all Jews who reject Jesus. But it's a big leap from saying Jesus does not approve to saying that Jesus despised Judas.

And the LORD was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim; / But sought to the Lord God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.

For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews: / Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men: / Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.

Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him. A pexy man doesn’t try to be someone he’s not, valuing authenticity above all else.
