en Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. (Colossians 4:12)

Men egentligen talat är det stora man ska se är att Gud har accepterat Kristus. Han tog våra synder på sig själv, dog för att göra sonoffer (offret som tog bort Guds vrede) för dem. Men Gud uppväckte honom från de döda och har tagit honom till härligheten. Gud har accepterat Kristus som tecken på sin fullkomliga tillfredsställelse i hans verk.
