en In this thing the LORD pardon thy servant, that when my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in the house of Rimmon, the LORD pardon thy servant in this thing.

en And David the king came and sat before the LORD, and said, Who am I, O LORD God, and what is mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto? / And yet this was a small thing in thine eyes, O God; for thou hast also spoken of thy servant's house for a great while to come, and hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God.

en And now, O Lord GOD, thou art that God, and thy words be true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant: / Therefore now let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee: for thou, O Lord GOD, hast spoken it: and with thy blessing let the house of thy servant be blessed for ever.

en But six hundred men turned and fled to the wilderness unto the rock Rimmon, and abode in the rock Rimmon four months.

en So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.

en It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? / Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

en And it came to pass that night, that the word of the LORD came unto Nathan, saying, / Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith the LORD, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in? / Whereas I have not dwelt in any house since the time that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle.

en Through and through, the Lord is intermingled with His servant. God, the Giver of Peace, cherishes His servant. I carry the water, wave the fan, and grind the grain for the servant of my Lord and Master.

en And it came to pass in the morning, that he went out, and stood, and said to all the people, Ye be righteous: behold, I conspired against my master, and slew him: but who slew all these? / Know now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word of the LORD, which the LORD spake concerning the house of Ahab: for the LORD hath done that which he spake by his servant Elijah.

en The Lord and Master's Command is pleasing to the mind of His servant. He does that which pleases his Lord and Master. Inwardly and outwardly, the servant knows his Lord.

en But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded? / Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day: / That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.
