en But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, in whose sight I brought them out.

en Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.

en For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.

en And it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard thereof, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our God.

en Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it: / And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.

en I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, and because thou art polluted with their idols.

en I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the heathen, and disperse them through the countries; / Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers' idols.

en Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.

en If the mind is polluted, then the body is polluted, and the tongue is polluted as well.
